Another stunning Porcelain patio completed by Ideal Buildings and Landscapes. We have just transformed this tired concrete slab driveway into an inviting patio space adding an additional raised block paving seating area. Our customer Mr Dave Noke is over the moon and cannot wait for the better weather next year to get outside again and enjoy it.
We asked Dave for his thoughts and observation now the project is complete
They were fabulous and a great bunch of lads. Ideal Building and Landscapes did work for my daughter and son in law. There were two reasons I chose Sam and Ideal Buildings and Landscapes. Firstly I was really pleased with the finished work at my daughter and son in law’s property and secondly I was there quite often whilst the work was being done and got to know the team. I know people always say to get other quotes but I was happy with the price and it was more important to me that the person I chose to do the patio was a person that I could trust. What better than using the company that you had only recently watched complete similar work to a high standard. Overall the lads were on site about a week and two days. I originally built a wall around my concrete patio about 40 years ago. I created a small step area in the centre and for years after I would sit out on my patio in nicer weather and lament not building the steps all the way along. I agreed with Sam that the new patio would have the steps the full length of the front patio area. I chose a tile that I like from Earlswood garden centre and looked forward to the work being done. The head installer was a chap called Jason and he was very helpful. As the old concrete patio was being removed Jason suggested that it may be a better idea to set the steps in the corner as it would add a lot of width to the patio area leaving it as a set back wall. That decision turned out to be a real winner as there is now so much more space and we have so many seating options now. Where we once had a little potting area there is now a raised area of block paving. I am looking forward to the good weather next spring and summer as I will enjoy sitting out there. I am recommending you on the community forum called Next Door and will be singing your praises to anyone looking for patio or driveway transformations.
