Block Paving before and after in Shirley

Another happy driveway customer for us here at Ideal Building and Landscapes. We have recently completed this block paving driveway for Ron in Shirley and as you can see by the photos the result is fabulous.
We asked Ron what made him choose us here at Ideal Building and Landscapes.
I saw that you were doing a driveway for one of my daughter’s neighbours locally. My driveway was looking worse for wear and I knew I had to get it sorted. The original tarmac went down in the mid 90s and was starting to sink in places. Also due to the addition of an extension there was an area of my driveway with no tarmac on it all and it had become muddy. I made a point of getting three quotes as I always doing. The first guy who came from a different firm seemed a bit fishy to me. He overstated the area by saying it was 150 metres square instead of 120 and so I discounted him. I then got another quote from a local firm and then finally from Sam at Ideal Building and Landscapes. The prices were both fair but Sam came over very well and I liked that I had seen a driveway being done. I went and spoke to my daughter’s neighbour who gave good feedback and was happy with everything and then I went and looked at two other driveways that Sam gave me the addresses for. I was impressed with all three of the driveways I visited and so on that basis I gave Sam the job. We could not decide wether to go for Tarmac again or change to block paving but after a lot of umming and arring and looking at pictures in Sam’s catalogue and online we opted for block paving. I’m glad we did and the result looks really good. I’m pleased.
