Another happy customer for us here at Ideal Buildings and Landscapes. this week it is Laura in Kings Heath. Laura tasked us with creating a beautiful border around her garden. looking at the before and after photos, it is clear to see that we have achieved just that using railway sleepers.
Railway sleepers are perfect for creating raised beds, planters and retaining walls. They can be used to highlight an area and create a contrast to the rest of the garden. they can also be used to create rustic steps of pathways.
We asked Laura for her thoughts on the finished project:
I chose Sam at Ideal Building and Landscapes because he completed the landscaping work for my sister Rachel and I loved it.
My sister chose you because she was fed up with contacting companies who made appointments but then never showed. Sam arrived on the appointed time and followed up with a written quote.
I have always wanted sleepers in my garden and Sam did some for Rachel and I though they looked fabulous. People were warning me that having sleepers would make my garden look small. Sam reassured me that it would not and now they are completed I totally agree. I think my garden looks wider with a crisp cut edge now to the lawn. Sam recommended having double sleepers to give some height which was definitely the right way to go.
As soon as I am ready I will be in touch with Sam to come and revamp my patio. Thank you to Sam and the team.
