New Porcelain Patio in Bentley Heath

Check out our latest stunning Porcelain Patio in Bentley Heath that we have completed for Kent Fermor and family. As you can see from the before photos below there was no existing patio just a row of tired concrete slabs underneath the bi-fold doors. Our remit was to extend the patio area dramatically and lay new porcelain tiles wrapping them around the side of the extension to the back side entrance. I’m sure you’ll agree the finished result looks fabulous.
We asked Kent for feedback and his thoughts on us here at Ideal Building and Landscapes.
We moved in to our property in October 2019 and our first priority was to add an extension to give us more space. After the extension we needed a break to get over the dust and upheaval. The extension took up the existing patio area and so a new patio was always on the agenda.
We visited Earlswood Landscaping Centre to view their range of tiles and decided on the Kandla Grey Porcelain tiles. Whilst we were there we saw a recommendation board and your card was on there and so we rang you along with two other firms.
All in all we had three quotes. Your quote and another company quote were in the same ballpark but the third one was much cheaper. This put me off them as I felt it was too cheap. In the end I chose Sam at Ideal Building and Landscapes because I felt comfortable with him. I felt that he listened to me rather than dictate what needed doing.
The installers were excellent – they arrived on time and were grafters. I am over the moon with the finished results – the patio looks fantastic. We are trying not to step on the lawn at the moment until the new turf beds in but it will be a great summer with the bi fold doors open it has all become one great space. Thank you.
