Kate’s garden was in need of full makeover due to the new extension that had been completed. The new extension had taken up the original patio space and left holes and patchy grass from all the foot traffic during the build. We were tasked with a new patio and with laying new turf to bring the garden back to life and to add the finishing wow factor to the home with its new modern spacious extension.
With the project completed we asked Kate for feedback about her experience with us here at Ideal Building and Landscapes.
I found out about Ideal Building and Landscapes through a client at my fitness bootcamp sessions. Her friend had very recently used Ideal for a garden project and was very pleased with your company.
We got a few companies to quote but I had a good feeling about Sam. He gave good advice and I trusted him. I thought that the price offered good value for many and so I gave Ideal Building and Landscapes the go ahead.
We had a new extension built last year which did not help the lawn and stepping out of the new bi-folding door onto the small step was a death trap as there was a big hole. We initially thought that it may be a project that we could have done ourselves but looking at it in the light of day it would be a tough job and so it was a better idea to get it all done professionally. I chose the blocks with Sam and I knew that I wanted to go for a grey look to match the bi-folding doors. I love it so much that now I really want to change the white window on the extension to grey in order to match the new look.
I thought that the installers Dom, Phill and Stacey were a great team. They called themselves the OAP team as the other teams are younger which was funny but they worked hard and showed great attention to detail. They turfed a bigger area than I expected as well which was a pleasant surprise. After seeing the finished result my parents have chosen Ideal Building and Landscapes for their new home improvement project which starts next week. A job well done.
