New Porcelain Patio in Shirley, Solihull

Ideal Buildings and Landscapes are proud to showcase another stunning installation. A new porcelain patio for Mr and Mrs LLoyd in Shirley, Soilhull in the West Midlands.
The transformation from the original patio has been immense as you can see from the photograph below. The original patio was composed of brick and concrete slabs. Bricks and slabs had become loose and areas of the patio were sinking. Weeds and grass were also starting to overtake the area. This is common with old brick patios and makes the area look tired and uneven to walk on and not an inviting area to sit and relax in the sun or enjoy some alfresco dining.
Mr and Mrs LLoyd decided to choose a porcelain patio and we used blue engineering bricks to create a step down into the garden. Porcelain tiles offer everything a patio needs making them the perfect choice. Porcelain is durable, very low maintenance and visually stunning. A benefit to porcelain tile sis that they are non-porous and so are extremely water resistant. This helps give them added traction in wet weather and can help prevent potential slip hazards making them the perfect choice for patios with hot tubs or a small pool. Porcelain tiles are also fade and frost resistant.

We had already got three or four quotes and came across your website. My wife also had friends who had used you in the past and visited them to see the quality of the work which was very good. You were not the cheapest quote but you were at the more favourable end of them. We like the fact that we had seen your work and that friends were happy to recommend you and so we placed an order. We already had a clear idea of what we wanted in terms of size of patio and incorporating steps down to the garden but Sam was very helpful with advice. We went and chose the tile ourselves and emailed a picture of it to Sam. Your installers were on time everyday and communication was great. I was impressed with the finishing as they full cleaned the patio area and the front driveway where they had previously had materials. I am really pleased with the work and would recommend Ideal Building and Landscapes.
