Check out this fabulous project of porcelain paving in Wythall for Mr and Mrs Howfield. Our brief was to create a modern garden with clean strong lines. The before pictures show the old block patio which was tired along with the path which with its circle mid garden looked old fashioned. We have put in a new porcelain patio and path leading down to the end of the garden. We have also added new turf to bring the garden back to glory.
We asked Lisa for feedback on the completed project and her experience in dealing with us here at Ideal Building and Landscapes
We are existing customers of Ideal Building and Landscapes as Sam and his team built the base and installed our summerhouse at the bottom of the garden 5 years ago.
We had been considering a Porcelain paving patio for sometime and knew exactly what we wanted. On this project we did get another quote just to be sure on the pricing and we were pleasantly surprised that Sam came out 20% cheaper.
We arranged a start date for over the Easter break and were expecting the work to take around three weeks. Sam was brilliant and at one point put an extra team on the job and so with 5 guys working the whole job was complete within 12 days.
Dom, Phil and Adam were the main guys on the job and they were fantastic. They worked so hard as there is no access at the side of the house and so everything had to be carried through the house. They put down protective sheeting and cleaned and swept up at the end of each day. We couldn’t ask for more. Dom especially impressed. He showed such attention to detail and the way he lined up the grouting around the manhole cover looks really good.
Now that the path is straight and the new lawn is laid the garden now looks so long. The only downside is that the beautiful new garden shows up the fencing to look tatty. As the weather improves we will paint the fencing and send over some pictures with all the new patio furniture laid out. We are very pleased with the finished result and would not hesitate to recommend Ideal Building and landscapes. A job well done.
