Tobermore Block Paving Driveway
Project Overview
We were requested to replace a worn resin driveway that had failed, leaving our clients with a crumbling surface. Although resin driveways are renowned for being hard-wearing and durable, this surface had not stood the test of time, and our clients wanted something different.
To create an attractive and durable driveway, we chose block paving as it would also complement the property’s style well.
Excavating Resin Driveways
Before the new driveway could be installed, we first had to remove the existing surface. We excavated the crumbling and failed resin, ensuring the correct levels and depth for the new hardcore base.
Tobermore Block Paving Installation
For this driveway, our clients chose Tobermore block paving in Tegular Trio Block, with a charcoal block paved border for added contrast.
To ensure the longevity of this paving, we installed the new driveway on a sand screed. To provide additional drainage and attraction, we also installed a feature area in gravel.
Finished Result
This project took us around 7 days to complete. Our clients now have an attractive Tobermore block paving driveway with contrasting borders and enhanced drainage, ensuring many years of practicality and enhanced kerb appeal.
