Our recent project for Steve Walters in Solihull is a perfect example of how we can turn a tired, overgrown garden into a beautiful, maintenance-free space.
Steve’s garden was typical of many new build properties, featuring an overgrown lawn and old concrete slab patio that offered little appeal. The space was uninspiring and in dire need of a makeover.
The first step in the transformation was to replace the old concrete slabs with a beautiful block paving patio. Steve chose Tobermore Tegula Trio in slate with a charcoal border. Tobermore paving is renowned for its durability, aesthetic appeal, and range of colours and textures. The Tegula Trio offers a timeless, classic look with its tumbled edges and varied sizes, creating a visually appealing and robust patio area.
To add different dimensions and textures to the garden, we incorporated moonstone flint gravel areas. The gravel not only enhances the visual appeal but also provides excellent drainage and low-maintenance benefits, making it an ideal choice for modern gardens.
We finished off the transformation with a section of artificial grass. This low-maintenance option ensures that Steve’s garden remains lush and green all year round without the hassle of mowing or watering.
The side border, already planted with small saplings, adds a touch of greenery and complements the overall design.
